How to delete Reddit account

It’s possible on a computer or on a phone.

I will do it on the phone.

Go to the application Look at top and left and you can see the icon of profile tap on this one.

In the menu select SETTINGS.

Go down and you can see HELP - go there.

In the search you have to write DEACTIVATE,

and select HOW DO I DEACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT.

Here Reddit informs that after deactivation nobody can ever use this username and the account cant be recovered.

Tap on THIS LINK

Write username and password, click on login.

Look at top and right and you can see the icon of the menu tap on this one and in the drop-down menu select SETTINGS and next ACCOUNT SETTINGS.

Go down and you can see red words DEACTIVATE ACCOUNT, click on that.

Here Reddit informs that Deactivating your account will not delete content of posts and comments, if you want then delete them individually.

Write username, password, add checkmark and tap on deactivate.

And one more time DEACTIVATE.

Got it.

Account has been deactivated permanently.
